Our clients' feedback
For us, the measure of success is customer satisfaction.
"I have been driving my car with Hornet for more than two years, and in my opinion, with great success – NO wildlife collision or near-accident situations."
"I've been motorcycling with this wildlife avoidance system for over 15 years. It works!"
"I have been riding motorcycles for 50 years, covering an average of 30,000 kilometers per year. This spring (2020), I encountered 19 groups of deer after installing the Hornet. One thing is certain: I was not disappointed. The Hornet was effective every time."
"I installed Hornet in my truck a few years ago and am very satisfied with it. I've seen deer move away from me instead of running toward me. It's not only effective against deer; I've seen other animals flee as well."

Brutal 120-135 dB performance
Powerful wildlife repellent with a range of nearly 500 meters.
The technology of Wave Variance Tuning
WVT (Wave Variance Tuning) was registered by a XP3 CORPORATION in 1998 with the creation of Hornet.
Sound propagates without attenuation for up to nearly 500 meters..
Fixed frequency
The Hornet operates at a fixed frequency of 5000 Hz and uses Sonic Systems' exclusive Wave Variance tuning, which uses a secondary frequency in the range of 18,000 to 21,000 Hz.
Most animals and humans hear within the same frequency range.. For most people, the output of the Hornet falls within the upper limit of their hearing range, and they may experience a high-pitched whistling sound.
About the products in general
Easy installation
Installing Hornet is extremely user-friendly, as it does not require any special technical knowledge, so you can install the device yourself at home using hand tools.
Electric
An operating voltage of 8-16 V allows the Hornet to be connected to a vehicle battery for power. Due to its electric operation, the device is not affected by speed or various environmental factors, so you can always count on stable operation.
In all vehicles
Hornet can be installed in cars, minibuses, trucks, and even trains, providing comprehensive assistance against wildlife collisions on the roads.
Easy to use
The Hornet is easy to use, as it only requires the press of a button to turn on, allowing you to decide when you want to use the device.
120-135 dB
This decibel (dB) range is considered extremely loud, but thanks to the Hornet WVT system, it operates at a frequency (Hz) that only has an alarming effect on animals. Examples of sounds in this range include rock concerts, firearms, and aircraft takeoffs.

Frequently asked questions
We have endeavored to comprehensively compile and answer questions we have received over the years regarding our devices.
Q. Is the Hornet an airflow whistle?
No. The Hornet cannot be compared to air-activated wildlife warning devices. During laboratory and field tests conducted between 1995 and 1998, we determined that air-activated wildlife warning devices require a direct airflow of at least 77 km/h to produce a measurable sound level. In our opinion, air-activated wildlife warning devices have little or no effect on reducing accidents between deer and vehicles.
Q. What is Hornet?
The Hornet is a small, electric wildlife repeller that generates a powerful, directional sound wave. This wave travels up to 488 meters and has been proven to warn deer and most other animals of approaching vehicles in time and at a distance, helping to prevent accidents.
Q. What is wave variant tuning? (WVT)
WVT combines signal reflection and echo. The sound wave begins to echo as it passes through the Hornet tube. The reflected wave then bounces off the road surface, creating a virtual echo effect and allowing the sound wave to travel much further.
Q. Is it difficult to install Hornet?
No. If you are familiar with and know how to use standard hand tools, you can install The Hornet in 30 minutes or less. If you can install long-range bulbs, you can easily install The Hornet.
Q. If I install Hornet on my vehicle, will I never hit a wild animal?
The Hornet is not a magic device, but it is an extremely effective wildlife deterrent. We estimate that, when used in conjunction with driver awareness, the Hornet reduces the risk of deer-vehicle collisions by more than 70%. The Hornet was tested for 3 years on police and emergency vehicles vulnerable to deer accidents, covering more than 6 million accident-free kilometers before it was launched on the market.
Q. Will I hear the Hornet in my vehicle?
You will not hear the Hornet while driving or motorcycling. However, you will hear the Hornet when your vehicle stops or when you enter an enclosed space, such as a parking garage. The sound wave is highly directional and reflects off any solid object.
